2. Information Money Help AI handles

Account information

We handle the name and email address used to create your account, account identifiers, verification status, and subscription status. Firebase Authentication handles passwords and authentication credentials; Money Help AI does not display or store your readable password.

Financial-plan information you choose to enter

This may include income and paycheck information, bills, debts, balances, due dates, categories, savings goals, tasks, notes, forecasts, payment history, and preferences. Money Help AI is not connected to your bank and does not automatically retrieve bank transactions or balances.

AI and support information

We handle questions, conversation history, confirmed AI actions, and relevant account summaries supplied to AI features. If you contact support, we handle the information included in your message.

Technical information

Our hosting, authentication, security, and payment providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, request logs, and security signals as necessary to deliver and protect their services.

3. How information is used

Information is used to:

• Create and secure accounts.
• Store, synchronize, display, and back up the financial plan you create.
• Calculate organizational estimates such as Safe to Spend and forecasts.
• Provide AI Coach responses and customer-confirmed actions.
• Process Premium purchases, verify access, manage renewals, and prevent fraud.
• Provide support, troubleshoot errors, maintain security, and improve reliability.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Money Help AI does not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use the financial-plan information you enter for targeted advertising.

4. AI features

When you use an AI feature, your question, recent conversation context, and a limited summary of relevant Money Help AI records may be sent to OpenAI to generate a response or proposed action. Do not enter full payment-card numbers, bank passwords, Social Security numbers, or other credentials into AI chat.

AI conversations and confirmed actions may be stored with your Money Help AI account so the app can provide history and continuity. OpenAI processes submitted information under its applicable service terms and privacy commitments.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Stripe processes Premium checkout, payment methods, subscription renewals, cancellations, invoices, and billing-portal activity. Money Help AI receives limited billing information such as subscription identifiers, plan, status, customer identifier, and billing dates. Money Help AI does not directly store complete payment-card numbers.

Stripe may retain payment, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, and dispute information under its own legal obligations and privacy practices. Deleting a Money Help AI account does not necessarily delete records Stripe is legally or operationally permitted to retain.

6. Service providers and disclosures

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve Money Help AI, including to:

• Firebase/Google for authentication and cloud database services.
• Stripe for payments, subscriptions, billing management, and fraud prevention.
• Vercel for website hosting and serverless application delivery.
• OpenAI for AI-powered responses and proposed actions.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, prevent fraud or abuse, protect users, or protect the rights and security of Money Help AI. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of the service, subject to applicable law.

7. Browser storage and similar technologies

Money Help AI uses local storage and session storage to keep you signed in, preserve app preferences, support cloud synchronization, remember installation prompts, and maintain app state. Our providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, hosting, and payment services.

Money Help AI does not currently use the financial information you enter for third-party advertising or cross-site behavioral advertising.

8. Data retention and account deletion

Account and financial-plan information is generally retained while your account remains active so the service can synchronize and restore your records. You can permanently delete your account from Settings → Privacy & Account.

The protected deletion process cancels an associated Premium subscription, deletes the Money Help AI cloud-state document and profile, deletes the Firebase login, and clears Money Help AI data stored by the app on that device. Deletion cannot be undone.

Limited records may remain where required or permitted for legal compliance, payment processing, fraud prevention, security, backups, dispute resolution, or enforcement of agreements. Information stored in backups may remain until those backups are overwritten under provider retention processes.

9. Your privacy choices

• Review and update financial-plan information inside the app.
• Export a personal backup from Settings.
• Cancel Premium through Settings → Manage Billing.
• Delete your account and Money Help AI cloud data through Settings → Privacy & Account.
• Contact us about privacy questions or requests.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request. Rights vary by location, and certain exceptions may apply.

10. Security

We use account-based access controls, authenticated cloud storage, secure HTTPS connections, restricted server credentials, and service providers designed to protect information. No online system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your password confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

11. Children's privacy

Money Help AI is intended for adults age 18 or older and is not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Money Help AI evolves. We will update the date above and may provide additional notice when changes are material or when required by law.
